This April, from the eleventh to the seventeenth, my Dad, one of my classmates and I will be on a service trip in Nicaragua. While in Nicaragua, we will be volunteering at the NPH (Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos) Orphanage, which is twenty miles away from the capital of Managua. At the orpahage,we will help the younger kids with math, play with them after their classes, put in a garden (using the excellent skills we have learned from Senorita Asbeld) and much, much more! We hope to learn more about Nicaraguan culture and lifestyle, while also speaking in Spanish. And of course we will have a great time!
Today, the countdown begins. Fifteen days until the eleventh of April!
Desde el undecimo de abril al decimoseptimo de abril mi padre, mi campañero de clase Ally y Yo iremos a Nicaragua. Cuando estamos alli, vamos a trabajar en el orfanato de NPH (Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos). Vamos a ayudar los niños con matematicas en sus clases, jugar con ellos despues de sus clases, crear un jardin (con las habilidades excelentes que señorita nos los enseñamos), ¡y mucho, mucho mas!¡Tambien queremos aprender de la cultura y vida de Nicaragua!
Estoy muy emocionada para este viaje. Hace tres años que este ha sido un sueño mio y ¡finalmente es un realidad! ¡Hoy, el cuenta atras ha empezado! ¡Hay quince dias hasta el undecimo de abril!
